i watched the oscars

ok so my attempt at live blogging was, well, an expirience. thanks to hot mess for stickin' with me.
what are peoples thoughts about the oscars last night?
i def liked parts of it and the general idea of what they were going for but it was so gd long. and i would not have stayed up to watch the rest if i didnt take a break and watch secret diary of call girl for a bit ( I LOVE THIS SHOW!) and allow my dvr to to build up so i could ff thru the super boring techincal awards.
i guess i'm pretty happy with everyone who won but i am a little slumdogged out (TALLY HO) and as much as i think kate winslet is a god i really kinda wanted anne hathaway to win, but that might be just because i didnt see the reader and i loved rachel getting married.
hugh jackman... not so bad. the number with beyonce was pretty awful but ill blame that on her fug self, but i did like the opening number. i also liked the whole former winners presenting to current nominees thing.

i watch red carpet - live blog attempt

i am attempting for no other reason than pure boredom to live blog the oscar pre-show

ok im just starting the e! pre-show, i'm a little late but miley happens to be the first face on the carpet. question: why is she so GD ANNOYING?! her face, her voice, her face, everything she says, i think i like her dress though, maybe. ok i have to change.

note: it is VERY important to have a good show to flip back and forth too for award pre -shows/ real shows. that is sober house on vh1 for me right now.

so i am actually so sucked into sober house right now and not doing a good job flipping, but i went to e! website to steal some pics of fug face miley and they are doing the whole live facebook event thing that cnn did for the inauguration. pretty cool.

i watch academy awards

no matter how many movies i've seen that are nominated or whether or not i care about the actors i have always loved loved loved the academy awards. when i was younger we always made an event of watching them on tv. everyone in my family (no matter where we were in the country) would put $5 towards a pot and we would fill out ballots and who ever was the closest won all the money (though it was always my mother who won which i still find a bit suspicious). for a couple years my mom and i would throw a mother daughter party and everyone would come where boas. so i guess you could say im excited for tonight. 

i am going to attempt to "live blog" along with the pre-show and show tonight, but we'll see how long my add allows that to actually happen.
